Support to Adults with learning disabilities and special needs to lead active lives through Vocational, Educational, Social and Recreation Activities. To enrich lives through inclusion in the community.
We have well equipped centre which offers various activities and workshops within purpose built classrooms, we have an art therapy room, Music therapy room, a sensory room, IT and a computer technology room and a fully fitted kitchen. We work with a number of organizations. Such as Men cap connexions, NWLC, Harrow College, Barnet College, Horticultural Society, Charity foundation, Thames 21, Eastcote photographic Society and the Eastcote film Society.
We have both indoor and outdoor activities: Football, tennis , yoga, Drama, Zumba, Salsa class, Arts and Craft, Numeracy and literacy, discussion workshops, cookery sessions , conservation and gardening projects. EDR Allotment travel training, mobile phone training, advocacy services, community outing, bowling, access to college, access to Eastcote library, mobile library, shopping , photography, cycling and horse riding.
We provide access to services such as advocacy, bereavement and counselling, speech and language therapists, psychologists, appropriate health service advice, guest speakers and seminars on issues affecting individuals i.e. Health, depression, general well being, positive living and independent living.
We provide support to access our local library, gym, community centres and leisure centres.
The day service is 8am - 6pm ( Monday - saturday). Closed public bank holidays. Individuals bring a packed lunch. Hot Drinks and juice is provided throughout the day.
We work with direct payments, personalized budgets and care packages.
People can attend half sessions 9.30-12.30pm or 12.30-3.30pm.
Individuals can also attend hourly sessions depending on their chosen activity.
Hourly sensory room hire is also available for up to 2 people and carer.
